Store Manager: John Partinger
John comes to us with a strong retail background, having worked in the industry for over 13 years. For the majority of that time, John worked as the Store Manager of an independently-owned Merrell store in Atlanta, Georgia. A Kentucky native, John grew up an avid outdoorsman, fishing small ponds and creeks for largemouth bass. John, his wife Jules, and their dog Olive are thrilled to be back in Kentucky and closer to family.
Fishing Manager: Kevin Gorton
Kevin grew up in Mobile, Alabama where he spent his early childhood fishing the Gulf of Mexico and participating in the Scouts, where he found his love for the outdoors. After relocating to Kentucky, he soon found a passion for fly fishing and once he caught his first trout on a black wooly bugger, he was hooked. Kevin attended the University of Louisville where he played Lacrosse while studying Criminal Justice and has previous assistant management experience. Besides his home waters of Louisville and the Cumberland River, Kevin has explored Yellowstone, The Great Smoky Mountains, as well as the Pere Marquette River in Michigan. When Kevin isn’t out fishing you’ll find him spending time with his dog and family.
