If youve already completed Fly Fishing 101, youre ready for the next step. Join us for a short outing on local water and a chance to catch your first fish! A nominal fee for the outing may apply.

Whether you have come up through the Orvis FF101/201 program or you are someone that just wants a little guidance on how to become a better fly fisher, nothing beats time on the water with a knowledgeable guide or instructor. Our FF301 program is the next step in your fly-fishing education. Designed to give you a great on-the-water fly-fishing experience, the day's instruction is built around specific techniques and local fisheries.
Store Manager: Reed Teuscher
Reed is a retail and service professional, most recently managing Fin & Fire in Redmond, OR. While at Fin & Fire, he harnessed his passion for fly fishing and entrepreneurial spirit to grow the business tenfold over his tenure, creating a unique and memorable experience for his customers. Reed is a passionate fly angler and has chased trout and steelhead in his native northwest since he could walk, and with a fly since age five. His passion for the outdoors and fly fishing has taken him to many rivers across the U.S. as well as abroad for saltwater species.
Fishing Manager: Kelsey Rosborough
Originally from Silverton, Oregon, Kelsey grew up fishing with his dad throughout Oregon. After graduating from Linfield College in McMinnville Oregon, Kelsey joined Orvis Portland as a Sales Associate in 2017. His dedication to the business and aptitude for leadership in the store quickly earned him a position as Key Holder. Kelsey has been a strong leader in Portland, aiding leadership team in various capacities for FF101, FT101, and other CFWU programs. His dedication to understanding and working to master all parts of the business has made him a great asset to the team in Portland. Kelsey’s passion and enthusiasm for the sport of fly fishing is contagious. His intensive quest for all species of the PNW as well as his aptitude in both single handed and double handed techniques has garnered him a strong following in Portland.
