Store Manager: Ryan Baxter
Ryan is a jack of all trades outdoorsman with a passion for deepening others knowledge of their outdoor pursuits. His diverse outdoor interests include family camping, fly fishing and paddling, backpacking and climbing. Ryan has been exploring the state parks, national forests and wilderness areas throughout his home territory of Virginia, West Virginia, East TN and North Carolina since 2000. He has worked for and managed specialty outdoor retailers in Virginia and Tennessee for much of those 20 years. Ryan hopes his varied retail experience, and broad regional knowledge will assist anglers and other outdoor enthusiasts who visit Orvis Roanoke to better engage their interests. When he’s not in the shop or out playing he spends time with his wife and kids on the homefront playing guitar, cooking, and more recently, tying flies.
