Michael Collins has been a retail industry professional since 2002 and has developed an extensive management background with companies such as New York and Company, Eddie Bauer, and American Eagle Outfitters across the South. Michaels desire to work for an outdoor company with a focus on customer service led him to Orvis, and he is thrilled to be a part of our retail team. After a successful nine months in Jackson, Mississippi, Michael cant wait to see what Memphis has in store for him!
Fishing Manager: Chris Summerville
Chris was born in Benton, AR, and has fished the rivers and lakes in that area since he was a child. He began fly fishing at the age of 16 while working at a canoe livery on the Saline River. In 2004 Chris moved to the Smoky Mountains to work as a river guide and later a river manager for the Nantahala Outdoor Center. Living in the mountains allowed him to pursue native brook trout, as well as smallmouth bass and other warm-water species. Chris most recently worked for Ouachita Outdoor Outfitters in Hot Springs, AR. Working at Orvis allows Chris to share his passion for the outdoors with all who will listen. When not working, Chris enjoys traveling and fishing with his wife Monica.
