Orvis Charlotte Retail Store - Store Manager Connie GrenierStore Manager: Connie Grenier
A native of Newport News, Virgina, Connie grew up loving the outdoors and spent many summers paddle boating the local waterways and fishing off the Yorktown Beach Pier. Fast forward to the present where she’s a busy mom of four juggling soccer, play dates, shopping, and a cat named Candi. A veteran retailer, Connie worked for Kay Jewelers for decades, spent six years in the beauty industry at Origins Skin Care, and also spent time at J.McLaughlin. A true adventurer and outdoor lover, Connie finds solace whenever she’s around the water, especially the clearwater beaches of the Gulf. But her ultimate adventure thus far has been her experience on season 33 of The Amazing Race, where she and her husband, “got to travel to Scotland and London and literally run all over the city with a backpack doing crazy tasks and competing against other amazing people.” At Orvis Charlotte, the pace is indeed a bit slower, but the rewards are no doubt comparable as she gets to help others embark on their individual outdoor adventures, wherever in the world they may be.

Assistant Store Manager: Sean Leary

Store Manager | Charlotte Store Manager FIshing Manager: Manning Paul
Manning is from Upstate South Carolina where his passion for fishing and the outdoors finds its roots. He has spent 25 years fishing South Carolina and North Carolina lakes and streams. Fly fishing, for him, was a rebirth in the pursuit of catching fish and understanding the environment they inhabit. Manning started with Orvis in the Fall of 2019 after working 5 years with another major outdoor retailer. He brought with him a great energy for community, education, and all things fly fishing. When he is not at the store he can be found fishing with friends, hiking, or spending time with his wife Casey and daughter River.
