Store Manager: Zachary Williams
Avid outdoorsman and native of the Show-Me State, Zachary takes advantage of every opportunity he has to get out and experience the adventure and wonder in nature. And those opportunities take many forms: Fishing, hunting, hiking, and gardening top his list of hobbies, and when he’s not out in the natural world, there’s a good chance he’s seeking out the next new sound in the local live music scene. Incidentally, Zachary tells us that he never needs to go far to pursue his passions. In fact, his favorite place to travel is his home state of Missouri, specifically Montauk State Park. As he told us, “The Current River is one of the most beautiful rivers our state has to offer.” A background in food service plus over a decade in the retail world has put Zachary in a prime position to lead the team at Richmond Heights. His work experience paired with his extensive knowledge of the local area makes him an asset to customers who are looking to make the most of their outdoor adventures.
Fishing Manager: CJ Couch
A self-described “Midwest bass angler,” CJ didn’t actually pick up a fly rod until after his college years, but he hasn’t looked back since. These days, you’ll find him streamer fishing for smallmouth, musky, and browns and, when the opportunity arises, trying his luck for a saltwater grand slam on the flats of Belize, a favorite angling destination. At home, CJ is seldom bored as his affection for European board games helps fill the time in between angling adventures. And when staying in is no longer the order of the day, CJ heads for the water for a boat ride—a 340-mile boat ride, that is, as CJ has proudly completed the MR340 not once, but twice. It’s a story he’d no doubt love to tell, provided you’ve got the time (the race itself needs to be completed in under 40 hours). But if you’re short of time, no worries, as CJ is ready to help you get out there with the gear you need to make the most of your angling adventures.
