Store Manager: Will Oliver
Orvis has always been an integral part of Will’s life in one way or another. At a young age, this Connecticut native visited Orvis Avon and, despite his youth and inexperience, the store manager took the time to talk, share information, and help Will pursue his passion. That moment stayed with Will over the years, inspiring him to further his experience as he fished the Farmington River and salt flats of Rhode Island and Massachusetts, and hunted upland in the region as well. Over the years, Will has hunted and fished in 23 states, including all of New England, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, the Dakotas, New York, and Ohio. He’s also fished the legendary chalk streams of England. He’s also no stranger to the company having worked at the Avon store mentioned earlier, as well as at Orvis locations in Jackson Hole, Wyoming; Boston, Massachusetts; Millbrook, New York, and our Flagship store in Manchester, Vermont. Whether it’s fly fishing, wingshooting, or simply getting out and experiencing the natural surroundings, Will looks forward to helping you pursue your passion, in very much the same way that store manager helped Will pursue his, all those years ago.
