A true Mainer, Samuel, who hails from Kennebunk, is something of jack of all trades: He received a degree in communications and new media, was a student of the Relais & Châteaux Customer Service Training Program, and is certified as both a personal trainer and a diamontologist. He’s an avid outdoorsman with his favorite destination the White Mountains of New Hampshire. He even named his German Shepherd Pemi, after the Pemigewasset River and wilderness area in the White Mountains, his favorite place to adventure. Samuel’s climbed over 100 different peaks in the White Mountains, completed single-day Presidential and Pemi Traverses, backpacked into some of the most remote wilderness, and explored the rivers and tributaries in search of native brook trout. And, as he told us, “Even then, there's so much left to discover! So, I keep on going back for more.” Before he came to us, Samuel was primarily a saltwater angler using conventional spin tackle. Now a fly fisher, he spends his angling time pursuing trout and bass on freshwater and stripers in the salt.
